12-09-2008 Saku Õlletehase AS submitted an application to stop trading with shares

Saku Õlletehase AS submitted an application to Tallinn Stock Exchange to stop trading with Saku shares as of September 16, 2008 until delisting of the shares from the main list of Tallinn Stock Exchange.

On September 5, the Listing and Surveillance Committee of Stock Exchange decided to satisfy the request to del-list the shares of Saku Õlletehase AS from the main list as of the next stock exchange day after the minority shares have been transferred to Carlsberg Estonia Holding OÜ by the Estonian Securities Center registrar.

Saku Õlletehase AS has submitted an application to the Estonian Central Register of Securities to transfer the shares in the ownership of minority shareholders to Carlsberg Estonia Holding OÜ on September 12 2008. On the basis of the information received from the registrar so far, the Saku Õlletehase AS assumes that the day of transfer of the shares shall be September 19, 2008.

Estonian Securities Center registrar will transfer minor shares to Carlsberg Estonia Holding OÜ and monetary compensation to bank accounts of minor shareholders automatically without the minor shareholders having to do any additional applications or orders.

To ensure that all transactions done with shares of Saku Õlletehase AS will be completed before the transfer day, it is necessary to stop the share trading with sufficient time reserve before the date of transfer of shares taking into consideration the usual term of realization of stock exchange transactions.

Presuming that the transfer date of shares is September 19 2008, it is necessary to stop the trading on September 16 2008. In such a case, the last trading day with Saku Õlletehase As shares will be September 15 and all transactions made on this day will be realized on September 18 2008.
